You have to deal with following problems for making Damp Away

Mold - You feel as soon as you open the basement door. The air is humid and smells really bad. This is usually caused by condensation caused by cold walls under ground or concrete slabs reacts with the hot, humid air from outside or upstairs in the house. Try running a dehumidifier for a few good days to get all the moisture in the air and then call a professional to help you determine the correct way to prevent recurrence.

Pipes leak - you go down to the basement and water pipes are cold drops, but do not see any hole. Chances are that there are not really losses, but the valves are literally sweating. Difference between the temperature of the pipe and the air around them is the culprit here, and the situation can usually be repaired with tubes later.

Weeping Walls - walls of the basement is always literally wet to the touch, and that really affect the cry. Moisture is usually the culprit here, and you should follow the same instructions that we decided to get rid of that smell of mildew.
